Great Vibe Events an organization created with Faith
Susan and Jim Boone, along with their sons Jimmy, Andy, and Mark, have made it their life’s mission to serve and uplift individuals with disabilities. This passion was born from the deep love for their daughter and sister, Faith—a bright light who was born with Down syndrome and passed away at three years old due to complications from heart disease. Though her time on Earth was short, Faith’s impact on their family was profound and lasting. Her life became the spark that ignited a powerful journey of purpose.
That journey began with volunteering at Best Buddies, where the Boones discovered the joy of building relationships, celebrating milestones, and walking alongside their buddies through challenges and triumphs. Each experience deepened their understanding of compassion, resilience, and the importance of inclusion.
In 2023, moved by a growing need for meaningful social opportunities for adults with disabilities, the Boone family founded Great Vibes Events (GVE). GVE is more than just an organization—it’s a vibrant, welcoming community where adults 18 and older can connect, learn, and thrive together. Every event is a celebration of life, love, and the enduring spirit of Faith. Through GVE, the Boones continue to honor her memory by creating a world that sees, values, and embraces every individual.
