Our Story

Born from love, built for community

Susan and Jim Boone, along with their sons Jimmy, Andy, and Mark, have made it their life's mission to serve and uplift individuals with disabilities. This passion was born from their deep love for their daughter and sister, Faith — a bright light who was born with Down syndrome and passed away at three years old due to complications from heart disease.

Though her time on Earth was short, Faith's impact on the family was profound and lasting. Her life became the spark that ignited a powerful journey of purpose — beginning with volunteering at Best Buddies, where the Boones discovered the joy of building relationships and celebrating milestones.

In 2023, moved by a growing need for meaningful social opportunities for adults with disabilities, the Boone family founded Great Vibe Events (GVE) — a vibrant, welcoming community where adults 18 and older can connect, learn, and thrive together.
